Lululemon Stretch High-Rise Pant 7/8 Length。What a unique and beautiful hat from the 1960s\' ! The hat is made of black felt and styled like a Cossack hat. The round crown is surrounded by an upturned brim. The brim is trimmed with black passementerie bands, and a tall, blue feather and qui are attached to the bands. Simply gorgeous! The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war & on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials. Explosions of feathers, veiling & artificial flowers were popular. Label: DON ANDERSON Don Anderson was a prominent milliner during the 1950s – 1980s. Born in International Falls he studied art at Parsons School of Design. Frustrated with his career, he stood in front of a millinery supply house when the proprietor asked if he was interested in the hat business. A millinery career was born.
